Midnight and Motorcycles
That I once put my lips on the sun
And my arms around the moon
That in the burning that came of it
And the coldness that also endured
The taste of it still lingers sweetly
The touching of invisible strength
The resounding beauty that cloaked
In these midnight meanderings
Spirits lifted us onto fragrant clouds
The danger of it was a honeyed imbibed
Fierce wind slapping against leather
Leaning against my every fantasy
Dawn’s serenity greets us in its’ light
Amorphous rays glitter in my mind
Hanging on with tentacles of might
Endless delivering of delicious dreams
Into the night, we scooped wonderful
Losing all sense of self, together we were
Vanished too soon, like raindrops
But still, there is the remembering
Once that I had everything
