Jessica is a writer based out of New Jersey. Her love for writing blossomed at the Young People’s Winter Writer’s Workshop at Manhattanville College in 1999. There she cultivated a special connection with the written word and went on to write stories in adolescence and young adulthood. 

After working as an intern for Resource MagazineCanarsie Courier and Viewing NYC she founded her own passion project, Discretionary Love. This platform was created to help people find solace in their most previous vulnerability. As a writer, she values the depth of the human experience and the ability to express it.

Her creative work has been featured in TrampsetStoryteller’s RefrainEmerge Literary Journal, and New York Times Metropolitan Diary among others.
