Home

I searched my whole life, for a place,

Somewhere to call, my own

Then you came along and turned my studio flat into a three story mansion,

And home, became you.

You made me a home out of my butterflies,

Made a bed, out of dirt,

A roof, out of, the darkest of skies,

And a blanket out of my deepest hurt.

Your smile was the light welcoming me

Your arms wrapped around me became a locked door,

So when I’m lost in the middle of the emptiness I know you’ll be

My home, forever more.
