Marchell Dyon is a poet and a poet enthusiast from Chicago, IL, She enjoys reading poetry wherever she finds it. She has published, since 2009 to the present. Once she was nominated for the best of the net prize for her poem: as I stand by my window dreaming of falling. Her chapbook The moon is never as bright as it appears was shortlisted by Nightingale and Sparrow Press 2022. She has taken poetry workshops in the past. Her education and thirst to improve her craft has constantly developed while having both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.  She believes in the creed of small victories and writing poetry for her is one of these.
