Days of Love
I remember this day
Like the day I saw love
Bless me with eyes of the stars;
The day the sun came down
With a trumpet as rays
As my skin smells blood,
And the sun flooded the cradle
Of my fluttering
With sweet-scented sprays
And the moon lent a smile;
Flowers danced before me,
Birds sang for me;
I watched waves wash the shores,
With an avalanche of water splashing
Over dams, over rocks,
In celebration of our love

He was the Second Poetry Prize Winner at the Streetlights Poetry Prize in 2024 and Winner of the Poet of the Month December-January 2025 at the Literary Shark Poetry Contest.
